I want to become a better photographer. If it only could stop there.
I want to learn French, and speak it fluently- so I signed up for Duolingo.
I want to learn to code - so I signed up for Codecademy.
I want to learn some graphic design - so I'm gonna sign up for Lynda... soon.
And of course become better at paining.
New York inspires me. I'm inspired by how such a diverse population can somehow find something in common, a common way to be something distinctively New Yorkerish. I'm inspired by friends like Maja, coming here as a step towards fulfilling her dream of doing something creative for a living someday. I'm inspired by people who seem to do everything they like at once, not concerned by the fact that days rumble by.
Whenever all of my projects overwhelm me I have to remind myself of doing one thing at a time. Step by step.

I totally get what you mean, really.. after having the baby, I didn't have the time to do anything and i had just started being more crafty. I really wanted to get better at it too.. just like you with you coding and French and all.
The thing is I also wanted to be a better blogger, so I started a new blog. Let's see what happens..

Well congrats to taking on so many new challenges! I'm envious. I always have the intention, but somehow, things seem to always fall by the wayside. Maybe I'm just lazy... or it's a sign that I'm actually content with the way things are? Here's hoping to the latter!
