My first day in Oslo was a sunny day by the wharf, hours of catching up with girl friends and noticing the first signs of the midnight sun to come.
I really don't mind the thought of spending this summer in Oslo. I used to think that this city wasn't for me. Maybe all I needed was to go away for a little while, in order to see it with a new perspective.
Or maybe I just love fresh starts.

ReplyDeletei was once in oslo for a christmas and was surprised at how nice everyone was, i remember thinking if it wasn't so cold i could live there!
i also love being reminded that travel makes you see your life in a new way!!!! one of the best parts about traveling!!!!!

Hah, I just blogged about a similar feeling, except I took a one-night vacation in my own city... which strangely made me appreciate it more.

ReplyDeleteAre you originally from Oslo? It looks like it was a beautiful day. I like fresh starts too and haven't had one in awhile. I was hoping to get one this fall.... then it looked like it wasn't going to happen.... and now it looks like it will!
