A Sunny Day in Oslo

04 April, 2012

My first day in Oslo was a sunny day by the wharf, hours of catching up with girl friends and noticing the first signs of the midnight sun to come.

I really don't mind the thought of spending this summer in Oslo. I used to think that this city wasn't for me. Maybe all I needed was to go away for a little while, in order to see it with a new perspective.

Or maybe I just love fresh starts.

  7. Hah, I just blogged about a similar feeling, except I took a one-night vacation in my own city... which strangely made me appreciate it more.

Still want to live in California, though. :)

  11. Are you originally from Oslo? It looks like it was a beautiful day. I like fresh starts too and haven't had one in awhile. I was hoping to get one this fall.... then it looked like it wasn't going to happen.... and now it looks like it will!

    1. I'm originally from Poland, but I've lived in Southern Norway most of my life. Sometimes, just looking forward to a fresh start makes you see the world differently. I'm so glad that you have one ahead of you :)
