There is one thing I never, ever will underestimate the value of: being able to visit my childhood home whenever I like. It is a farm house we rented until I was twelve (stay tuned for more shots of it). I love it so much to go there once in a while. Not only does it bring back memories, but it's a place of complete peacefulness.
It's just one of these places you can go to in whatever state of mind you are, and feel calm when you are there.
Wow!!! That is so fantastic... how lucky are you :) Those photos are gorgeous and mke me feel calm just looking at them... can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteps. I'm really looking forward to all your October postings too.. it should be fun :)
i live on a farm :)
ReplyDeletei love the first two pictures.
That must be beautiful! You've said sth about that farm house before. How amazing could it be to grow up in a place like that?? I had a great childhood (in an apartment in the city), but I must admit I have always been jealous of children playing and growing up in farm and small towns.. They play in the streets and the pace of life is different..
ReplyDeleteI sooo want to provide this kind of life to my children - have I told you we are looking forward to having kids?? :P Then, when they grow up and want to move to experiment the things only the city can give them, it's fine. But I'll be retired by then, enjoying a cup of hot tea by the window of my small town's house.

Underbart. Norge är så himla fint. Själv åker jag till Årdal (Aurland) om drygt en vecka. =) Ska hälsa på min syster som har lyckan att bo där för tillfället. Längtar så att åka upp till de fina berglandskapen.
