Beach life

 From our trip to Spain

Now, when the rainy days have come to stay here in Bergen, I'm beginning to remind myself of my time in Spain. I miss the warm weather, looking aimlessly at a horizon (which is a rarity in Norway because of the mountains) and I even miss the salty sea water. I also miss the feeling of the everyday carelessness. I feel like a child every time we go on vacation. One with a camera to explore the world with. What do you miss about summer? What do you look forward to for next summer?

  1. I miss the beach too! I just love the feeling of sun on my skin. I'm never one to spend too much time tanning, but I definitely miss the bright sunlight in the colder months. And I already miss summer fruit. Strawberries are my favorite!

  3. Well, I know I'm a freak, but I can't say I miss many things about the summer... Maybe the moments my man and I spend there at our lake house by ourselves, before the family arrives. I really enjoy relaxing, just being there is great. Maybe also summer sports and longer days...

  6. We are heading into summer... I love it but hate it when it gets too hot... it can be a killer here! I use to live in Bondi Beach (Sydney beach suburb) years ago... I really miss going for an early morning swim when there was hardly anyone around.. bliss :)

  7. Ugh this is just simply beautiful. Summer is leaving us in Southern California and I'm kind of sad about it. Beautiful.

  9. I love the beach!! We have them in Goa which is a day's journey away (& also my hometown). Though I love mountains as well, we don't have any close by. Beautiful photos, somehow with the green tint this looks more like redscale xr film to me. :)
